Here follows some useful information:

Arrival, sign in and accommodation

Gate will be open 4-5.30 on Friday and again from 9-10 both weekend days.

For those staying in bunkrooms, please bring bedding (sheets and blanket or sleeping bag, pillow). Most beds are single bunk beds, as well as a few doubles.

Please let us know if you have special requirements, we’ll try to accommodate you. If you’re traveling from outside Southron Gaard and would like bedding supplied, please let the stewards know via coronation@sableraven.com

Camping space is available on site on both the top field and in the downstairs Tui area. The top field will also be the site of the tourneys and, at the other end, archery.

The Tui bathrooms and kitchen will be open for our use, but you’ll have to walk up the hill for everything else.

We know it’s not a great time of year to be camping, but we also know a lot of you would rather not share bunkrooms!

Rides and Billets

There’s a spot on the booking form to volunteer either of the above, and similarly to request assistance arranging same. Our populace is made up of wonderful generous people, we’re confident we can match up those with a need and those who can help.

If you’re allergic, to say, cinnamon, there will be cinnamon-free food for you to eat but there will not necessarily be a cinnamon-free variant of EVERY item.

Weather

Too far out to say at this stage but a prediction of ‘cool but fine’ is probably fair. We’ll try to get a forecast out closer to the time. Please make sure you bring your winter woollies – we’ll keep the indoor areas as warm as we can, but a cloak and fuzzy socks are never a bad idea.

If you indicated at the time of booking that you would like to volunteer with an aspect of the event, we will be in touch. And thank you!

Arts and sciences

We’ll set up a table/s in the main hall for the Kingdom A&S competition, please have your items set up by 10am Saturday (or to the stewards to place for you if you’re not attending) The plan is to have the judging during the day and the table/s free again for the feast before 6. Watch for updates.
