Canterbury Faire 2009 Schedule
[Main Schedule]
[Arts & Sciences]
[Dance Classes]
[Fencing Classes]
This 2009 schedule is provisional. While the general range, shape and timing of activities is not likely to change significantly, minor additions or shifts and tweaks to accommodate them may occur.
Note: SITE OPENS Saturday January 31st 4pm (no earlier) and CLOSES at 3pm, Sunday February 8th.
Other than a free soup kitchen on the evening of Sunday 1st, there are no scheduled activities for Saturday 31st or Sunday 1st, as they are intended for setup and self-catered casual camping. Sunday 8th is reserved for pack up.
Until 2pm Monday 2nd, a non-SCA group will be using the upper level of the site, containing the Great Hall, Royal Ward and Quarters (see site map). Please avoid that area unless you have explicit approval from the Steward. There are no restrictions if you're setting up a campsite on the bottom fields and staying there. The Tui Lodge will be available for marae-style accommodation (mattresses on the floor in a shared room) on Saturday night; the main bunkrooms in the Quarters will be available from Sunday evening, and the bunkrooms in the Royal Ward from 2pm Monday.
Main Schedule
Reminder: Sunday 8th after breakfast is all packup -- site closes at 3pm.
